Returns and Refunds

All customers are eligible to the statutory ‘cooling-off’ period for online sales. This means, if you decide you no longer want the service(s) you ordered, for whatever reason, and provided you have not yet sent your product samples to our lab, we can arrange a full refund on your order.

Orders cancelled after samples have been sent to our lab, whether they have arrived at the lab or not, will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee.

Once the testing is actually underway in our lab, this constitutes delivery of the service (even if results have not yet been generated) and a refund cannot be issued at this stage.

Damaged/Missing Samples

In instances where samples sent to our lab go missing in the courier network, or are damaged to the point where testing cannot reliably be carried-out at our lab, it is the buyer’s responsibility to arrange another sample to be sent to our lab.

Accreditation

  1. Grant of licence and approved products
Once qualifying tests have passed, the annual subscription has been paid in full, and Verifier Lab has issued written scope
approval, the Client receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to display the supplied Mark on approved
product packaging, product listings, websites and marketing. Permission applies only to the expressly approved
product/SKU(s), not the brand or an entire range. The Mark must not be modified, assigned or sublicensed without written
    consent.
  2. Prominent and accurate scope wording
Every display of the Mark must carry a clear, legible scope statement at the same point of display, using “Accredited Scope:
…” or equivalent wording approved by Verifier Lab. The statement must identify only the analytes, test types and/or
outcomes actually supported by approved evidence. No untested product, other batch, whole-product purity or regulatory
approval may be implied. Packaging artwork and material changes to approved wording require prior written approval.
  3. Annual subscription and payment
The Mark licence runs for 12 months from its issue date, ending on the stated expiry date, and continues only while the
annual subscription is active and paid. Accreditation fees are separate from laboratory testing fees and are charged at the
agreed turnover-based rate. An authorised recurring subscription may renew automatically unless cancelled before the next
charge; there is no minimum cancellation notice period. A non-recurring subscription expires unless renewed and paid.
    Agreed written quotations govern pricing.
  4. Annual retesting and continuing scope
At least one qualifying test per accredited product must be successfully repeated every 12 months to retain the Mark. In
addition, every specific analyte/test cited within the approved scope must have current supporting evidence: each
certificate is valid for scope purposes for 12 months from its own issue date, including any third-party CoA expressly
accepted by Verifier Lab. Test-renewal dates may therefore differ from the subscription date. An expired test must
immediately be removed from the accredited scope; the Mark can remain only if the subscription is active and at least one
other approved, passing test remains current for that product. A material formulation or manufacturing change must be
disclosed and may require earlier retesting.
  5. Certificates, hosted records and QR codes
During an active accreditation, Verifier Lab will host approved Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) and provide linked QR codes
where publication has been authorised. After the licence ends, our hosted CoA pages and associated QR codes will be
deactivated; the Client must stop displaying those QR codes and replace/remove them from affected materials. The Client
may still retain and share unaltered copies of CoAs lawfully supplied or approved for public use, including Verifier
Lab-formatted versions, provided historical findings are accurately dated and not presented as current accreditation. This
continuing permission does not extend to restricted Insider Programme records without express authorisation.
  6. Independence, confidentiality and promotional activity
Client-commissioned testing results remain confidential unless the Client approves their release in writing. Independent,
consumer-selected Insider Programme results remain editorially independent: accreditation cannot determine product
selection, change a finding or prevent publication. Where appropriate, Verifier Lab may offer pre-publication review and
confirmation/retest opportunities, without any right to suppress valid results. Any optional social, newsletter or paid
promotional collaboration is separately agreed and ceases with accreditation unless expressly agreed otherwise.
  7. Cancellation, expiry and immediate cessation of use
The Client may elect not to renew without giving advance notice and may request earlier termination at any time; an
activated annual subscription is not refundable for unused time unless separately agreed or required by law. By the licence
expiry or earlier termination date, without any grace or sell-through period, the Client must stop using the Mark and
current-accreditation claims, remove them from all live websites, advertising, social and retailer listings, and
remove/overlabel the Mark on packaging and stock still in its control before further sale or distribution. The Client must
instruct relevant agencies, distributors and retailers to remove affected materials. Allow sufficient lead time for the
    packaging transition.
  8. Protection of the Mark; governing law
All intellectual property in the Mark and supplied graphics remains with Verifier Lab. We may suspend or withdraw
permission where fees are unpaid, scope evidence lapses, test findings materially undermine a claim, or use is misleading,
unlawful or in breach of these terms, with notice where practicable. The Client remains responsible for all advertising,
packaging and consumer-law compliance. This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Publication of Test Results

All non-accreditation linked test submissions (by consumers) will have results published publicly in our database, accessible via verifierlab.com, and shared to our mailing list via email. There is no option for consumer-purchased test results to be held privately – we feel this helps us to achieve our goal of informing as many consumers as possible about reputable and safe supplement brands/products.

Accreditation-linked (commercial) test results will never be shared publicly, at least not without the express, written permission of the Buyer.
